I began to cook for the first time when i was away from home in a far away land tucked in Europe. If i had my way, i'd never cook, but hunger pangs don't help and being a student... well u know the rest. So, with my limited repertoire of "i think i know how to make an omlette", i began my half-hearted journey into the dreaded kitchen. Thanks to all my friends who loved to help, i learnt to cook and have fun.

The next chapter in my life...well, my much- awaited wedding to a great chap looked daunting too. From..."I hope he likes what i cook,", i've come to "I know its going to be okay". He is the inspiration behind my cooking skills, because he is never demanding or finicky about food. He lets me do what i like. Everything i make is delicious and good. Would'nt it be a pleasure, then, to give my best to a sweetheart like him?

Cooking is an on and off affair of my heart... sometimes, i am all enthusiastic and raring to go into the kitchen, other days, have to drag my feet ... sometimes i love to cook, sometimes i don't. But most times, i like it more when i begin cooking, but when i am doing it at my own pace in my own space :)

This blog is for my family and close friends who would never believe that i could cook. They are going to be pleasantly surprised :))And for all those, including my family and friends who doubt if i m taking good care of "R", here is the proof - see... i can cook and fairly well.
